Elmsford, N.Y. – We’re welcoming the new year with two new cable stripping tools. Introducing the new Jonard Tools Precision Cable Stripper, 6-25mm (CST-25), and the Cable Stripper, 6 to 28 mm (CST-28). These two cable strippers are compact and lightweight, perform slit and ring cuts, and can fit into any tight space.
The CST-25 is the perfect slit and ring tool for use on hard outer sheaths on cables and ducts, as well as armored cables from 6 to 25 mm in diameter.
The blade is made of hardened steel for extra sharpness and durability. Its height can easily be adjusted with the push of a button. The depth of the blade can also be adjusted manually at the bottom of the tool. The position of the blade can be shifted from the ringing position to the slitting using a lever.
The CST-28 has many of the features of our CST-25, however, this model is designed to open cables and ducts from 6 to 28 mm. Another difference is the blade’s position can be automatically adjusted by tuning the tool, rather than adjusted with a lever.
When the time comes, we also have replacement blades for both of these cable-slitting tools. These are the Replacement Blade for CST-25 (CST-25RB) and the Replacement Blade for CST-28 (CST-28RB).
