Our thermal fiber stripping tools give technicians the advantage of being able to easily remove the extremely difficult or baked-on coating from fiber optic cabling. The Jonard Tools TSAB-40, Thermal Stripper with an Adjustable Blade, has an adjustable heater that can get up to 200°C, which is far hotter than any competing product on the market. The adjustable heater also allows it to adapt to a wide range of acrylate coatings and cladding sizes. The TSAB-40 thermal fiber stripping tool also supports optical fibers with cladding diameters from 30 µm to 1000 µm, with buffer diameters up to 1200 µm, including 250 µm, 400 µm, and 900 µm coated fibers.
Jonard Tools also offers accessory products for thermal fiber stripping tools such as the TSPF-125, Platform for Thermal Stripper Holders. These platforms are intended for use in conjunction with our TSAB-40 or TSFB-125 Thermal Strippers. This platform is used to adapt Fitel/Fujikura-style fiber holders onto the thermal stripper.
