Meet Our Inventors

William E Bunce is the inventor of the Electrical Panel Knockout Kit (WBK-100).

William has been in the electrical construction industry for over 60 years working on new construction, refurbished apartments, and housing complexes. He started designing the electrical panel knockout kit, originally known as the "panel buddy", because he needed a faster way to install new connectors and wires with minimal damage to the drywall around the existing panels. His first design worked primarily on panels with lips however with the growing demand and the ever-growing change in the industry, the tool has evolved to work for all types of metal boxes and panels.

Tina Tomblin is the inventor of the Speed Wrench (ASW Line).

Tina Tomblin brings over 40 years in the telecommunications industry to the Galloway Group where she currently serves as a sales professional. Tina supports the Galloway Group with her knowledge of structured wiring products, OSP plant equipment, tools and safety equipment.

Before joining Galloway Group, Tina worked for several manufacturers and distribution companies after leaving Time Warner Cable. She traveled extensively in these roles and worked closely with customers to solve their challenges. Introducing new products to field personnel to make their jobs easier and safer has always been fun.

Tina attended The Ohio State University and Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.

When not at work, Tina enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has an affinity for gardening and crafting and helps with animal rescues. The idea for the speed wrench first started while doing numerous demonstrations of an air shrink tubing product on a CATV drop tap. Tina had to take the drop fitting on and off the tap during every demo. Traditional wrenches had to be removed from the fitting and reinserted after every turn to tighten or remove the fitting.

Tina met Wayne Bunce of Jonard Tools when the distribution company she worked for started selling the Jonard line. She talked to numerous installation techs about the wrench idea to see if they had a trick or a tool that made this little job easier, no one knew of anything. One day she mentioned this challenge to Wayne. He had her draw a picture of what she was thinking and sent it to Jonard’s engineer, Ed Scirbona and he engineered a mockup. After some additional fine tuning and angling the head, the Speed Wrench was developed making tightening and loosening F connectors, nuts and bolts quick and easy.
