Designed for fiber optic drop cables, the MS-5929 precisely shaves, making cable preparation quick and easy. This shaver also features the following:
- Fixed blade design cleanly shaves fiber optic drop cables, with no adjustments required.
- Two precision shaving grooves accommodate flat fiber optic drop cables up to 5.9 mm x 2.9 mm. Insert into the vertical hole first to shave the sides of the cable, then the horizontal slot to shave the top or bottom for full jacket access. Indicator line on top marks the blade position for accurate shaving.
- Compact body provides clean access to the drop cable jacket while protecting the individual fibers within the cable.
- High-carbon steel blade can operate in both push and pull directions and lasts for up to 5,000 shaves.
- Compact design with tethering hole is ideal for tight spaces or on-the-go use.
