Dual-Head Cable Slitting Pliers, for Ribbon Fiber and Strength Member Access

The CSP-RPXSM combines two precision-engineered blade blocks into a single double-head tool, providing a complete solution for RPX® gel-free ribbon cables, including both Dielectric and Toneable models. This design allows technicians to safely and efficiently expose internal ribbon fiber, strength membrane and toner wire. These pliers feature the following:

• CSP-RPXB precisely slits the Polyethylene (PE) outer jacket exposing the internal fibbon fibers for mid-span or end access without damage.
• CSP-RPXMB slits jacket of the strength member and toner wire for easy anchoring capabilities.
• Blades are fixed to prevent accidental fiber damage and require no adjustment.
• Each blade is secured with set screws for fast, tool-free replacement.
• Blade blocks are secured with Phillips-head machine screws, providing a secure fit while allowing easy removal, replacement, or swapping of blocks.
