The Jonard Tools AST-10 Mid Span Cable Slit & Ring Toolis designed to slit open 4 mm - 10 mm (0.157” - 0.393”) jacketed and armored fiber optic cables and is perfect for gaining mid-span access to armored cables. This mid span cable slitting tool features the following:

  • Adjustable depth up to 5.5 mm (0.216”)
  • Precision steel blade will cut through the toughest materials, ensuring no damage to the internal fibers
  • Blade can be set to be longitudinal for slitting or radial for ringing
  • For use on cables 4 mm – 10 mm (0.157” - 0.393”)
  • Cable wheel provides stability and enhances movement along jacket
  • Rugged anodized aluminum and steel construction for maximum durability
