Elmsford, N.Y. – We’re happy to introduce the UY2-25, UY2 2-Port Telephone Splice Connector, and the UR-25, UR 3-Port Telephone Splice Connector packs. These two new connector 25-packs eliminate the need to strip wires and save time!
Both the UY2-25 and UR-25 connectors help technicians save time while providing them with reliable connectors. Each connector type has a self-stripping design and they come with dielectric gel-filled cavities that not only permit an excellent signal flow but are also moisture-resistant and insulated to prevent accidental shocks.
The UY2-25 is designed to splice two wires together quickly and easily. These splice connectors are perfect for splicing 22-26 AWG (0.64 - 0.40 mm) telephone or electrical wires. With a quick squeeze of a crimping plier such as our JIC-22148, Combo Crimper, Long Nose Pliers, or our JIC-891, Connector-Crimper Pliers (See bottom image) your cables are securely spliced.
The UR-25, on the other hand, is designed to splice two or three wires together. These splice connectors are perfect for splicing 19-26 AWG (0.91 - 0.40 mm) telephone or electrical wires of various sizes with solid copper conductors.
