Elmsford, N.Y. – Jonard Tools is rolling out two new precision fiber optic strippers: the ST-300, Precision Fiber Optic Stripper (190-330 Micron), and the ST-950, Precision Fiber Optic Stripper (600 -1100 Micron).
Each fiber optic stripper is designed to be compact and lightweight, which allows a fiber technician to use these at any job site. The blades on each stripper are precision ground and hardened for accurate stripping and long life. They are perfect for stripping the 600 - 1100-micron buffer coating and the 180 - 330-micron acrylate coating (respectively) to expose the 125-micron glass fiber of fiber optic cables.
"We’re releasing these tools due to overwhelming demand,” said Michael DeGirolamo, Jonard Tools Product Engineer. “Both tools are small, lightweight, and have a sliding scale to accurately strip your fiber every time. These tools are extremely portable and save a significant amount of time while stripping.”
These fiber strippers make quick work of accessing the internal glass core inside fiber cabling and the precision blades provide repeatable, consistent results when stripping the buffer off fiber optic cables.
