Elmsford, N.Y. – The new Jonard Tools Multi-Pair Punch Down Tool for 4 Pair Wire Seating (MPD-4) helps Network/IT and telecom technicians terminate and cut up to four pairs of wires simultaneously.
The MPD-4 punchdown tool is perfect for easily and quickly terminating 4 pairs of VDV wires on 110-terminal blocks.
“This tool was designed to punch down 4 wires simultaneously, which is why it delivers greater force when punching down. For this reason, it is the most efficient punchdown tool we’ve ever used,” says Michael DeGirolamo, Jonard Tools Product Engineer.
The MPD-4 can be used to terminate a wide range of wires including, 28-22 AWG solid or stranded wires with single insulation in a single punch, including 23 AWG CAT6A cable. The blade on the MPD-4 is durable and designed to last for more than 30,000 punches before needing to be replaced (MPD-4 Replacement Blade, MPD-4RB).
